Alanna R. Scott
Alanna Scott, PharmD, BCGP, is the Director of Clinical Pharmacy at HopeHealth and a board-certified geriatric pharmacist recognized for her leadership, advocacy, and commitment to patient-centered care. In her current role, she provides comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for older adults and serves as a trusted consultant to medical providers, supporting evidence-based therapeutic decision-making. She also delivers direct patient care through annual wellness visits and hospital follow-up visits, with a strong emphasis on preventive care and immunizations.
Alanna Scott is deeply passionate about advancing health equity and works intentionally to remove barriers to medication and immunization access, particularly for vulnerable and underserved populations. Her dedication to improving access and outcomes makes her a strong advocate for public health initiatives and an ideal Immunization Champion.
Her professional background spans retail pharmacy management, ambulatory care, and healthcare administration, providing her with a broad and practical perspective on pharmacy practice across patients’ journey through the healthcare system. This diverse experience informs her collaborative approach to building sustainable, patient-focused clinical pharmacy programs.
In addition to her clinical and administrative roles, Alanna Scott is the Residency Site Coordinator for a PGY-1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency, offered in partnership with HopeHealth and the University of South Carolina. She is also an active educator and mentor, serving as a preceptor for Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) students as well as PGY-1 pharmacy residents.
Alanna Scott earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina, and her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Erskine College in Due West, South Carolina.

Benjamin Prewitt
Benjamin Prewitt, PharmD, RPh, is a pharmacy leader with more than 17 years of experience dedicated to expanding access to preventive care through pharmacist-led immunization services. In his role with Kroger Health, he has overseen and administered over 37,000 vaccinations across hundreds of community and workplace clinics, strengthening public health outcomes and reducing barriers to care. Dr. Prewitt strives to advance the clinical role of pharmacists through education, collaboration, and advocacy, ensuring communities benefit from accessible, high-quality immunization services.
