APhA2021 Virtual honors this year’s Immunization Champions

The 13th Annual APhA Immunization Champions Award Ceremony, held on Sunday, March 14, recognized the innovative pharmacists, practices, and community leaders who protect patients and the community from vaccine-preventable diseases.

“Our Champion Awards program has no greater significance than this year, when members of the pharmacy team are exemplifying the true meaning of the ‘immunization neighborhood’ as coined by APhA in 2012,” said Mitchel Rothholz, APhA Chief of Governance and State Affiliates and executive director of the APhA Foundation, in his introductory remarks. “APhA thanks each of you for your immunization activities. All members of the pharmacy team deserve to receive an award this evening, and a big thank you for all that you do for the individuals and communities you serve.”
