Announcements from the White House this week herald a pending increase in the volume of COVID-19 vaccine being made available for Americans.

CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) released its 2021 recommended immunization schedule for adults as well as 2021 child and adolescent immunization schedules.

U.S. doctors are reporting an uptick in cases of multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C), a complication of COVID, with more patients becoming critically ill or dying. Typical symptoms include fever, rash, red eyes, or gastrointestinal issues weeks after a coronavirus infection.
