Kenvue APhA Annual Meeting Travel Scholarship

About

The Kenvue APhA Annual Meeting Travel Scholarship was established to financially support the opportunity for student pharmacists to attend, learn, and network with attendees during the APhA Annual Meeting & Exposition. It will also allow the student pharmacists an opportunity to develop verbal and written communication skills and network with Kenvue employees attending the Annual Meeting.

Scholarship overview

Applicants must be an APhA student pharmacist member at the time of application submission. This competitive travel scholarship will be awarded to five exemplary students per year to help offset the expense of registration, airfare, and hotel costs to participate in the meeting.

While attending, the student will be responsible for the following:

  • Attend pre-identified APhA sessions during APhA Annual Meeting & Exposition
  • Attend a small focus group with Kenvue staff at the Annual Meeting
  • Write a recap article on their meeting experience to be published in Student Pharmacist magazine on www.pharmacist.com and through Kenvue’s own channels
  • Develop social media posts for APhA–ASP social media and Kenvue channels during the Annual Meeting

Evaluation criteria

Applicants must be an APhA student pharmacist member at the time of application submission and be eligible to receive the award as an active member during the subsequent APhA Annual Meeting & Exposition. Applicant must be in good standing with a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. Applications will be evaluated based upon the nominee’s passion for pharmacy, desire to attend the APhA Annual Meeting & Exposition, and how the meeting experience will make an impact on their pharmacy career. Reviewers will give preference to applicants based on demonstrated ambition, defined career goals, financial need, and those who have never attended the APhA Annual Meeting & Exposition.

Members of the APhA–ASP National Executive Committee, National Standing Committee, or Regional Office are not eligible for this award.

Application process

The applicant is responsible for submitting a complete award application. The application is to include the following items:

  • Short-form responses
  • A current CV or résumé
  • A recent headshot
  • An unofficial school transcript

Selection process

The selection is made by an APhA staff committee. Award recipients will be notified by January 15, 2026.
