The search for APhA’s next CEO has launched with the release of the CEO position specification by the APhA Executive Committee, Search Committee, and executive search firm, Russell Reynolds Associates.
The position specification details the position and related responsibilities, which include carrying out the vision, mission, and objectives of the association; directing professional and support staff in the creation, planning, and coordination of programs to meet objectives; serving as a representative for the pharmacist profession; and stewarding the resources of the organization, among many other responsibilities. The confidential Search Committee is chaired by a dedicated volunteer leader and includes representatives from across APhA’s volunteer leadership. The Search Committee is heavily invested in the successful execution of APhA’s CEO search.
