Implementing Solutions 2.0 Summit

On behalf of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) we are excited to invite you to our Implementing Solutions 2.0 Summit – continuing the work to build a sustainable, healthy pharmacy workforce and workplace.

This summit brings together thought leaders, decision makers, industry experts, and passionate individuals to explore strategies that foster well-being innovation, improve collaboration, develop a positive workplace culture, and drive meaningful change in our profession. Attendees will continue the work of our 2023 Implementing Solutions Summit through engaging discussions, actionable insights, and opportunities to connect with others in the profession that are committed to shaping the future of pharmacy workplaces.

Register Today

Invitations to attendees were sent directly from APhA, ASHP, and NABP to attend the Implementing Solutions 2.0 Summit. Please register for the summit within a few days after receiving your invitation. There is no registration fee associated with the summit for 2025.

  • Arrival: Sunday, June 22, 2025 – Summit will begin at 6:00pm ET
  • Departure: Monday, June 23, 2025 – Summit will end at 3:00pm ET

  • Room Rate: $219 per night (plus 14.5% tax)
  • Reservations will be accepted until May 30, 2025, or until the room block is sold out, whichever occurs first. After this date, reservations will be made based on availability and the Westin may charge higher rates.

Travel / Parking

  • Air Travel: We highly recommend flying in/out of Reagan National Airport (DCA). The hotel is less than 10 minutes from DCA.
  • Airport Shuttle: The Westin offers compliment shuttle transportation to/from Reagan National Airport (DCA).
  • Parking: The Westin’s onsite parking garage is $48 per day. Attendees will receive a 20% discount on parking.
Pre-Summit Webinars

APhA, ASHP, and NABP will host two pre-summit webinars that will prepare attendees for the onsite summit meeting in June. Webinars will be recorded; however, we encourage all participants to attend the live sessions.

Implementing Solutions Progress Report - Please Complete by May 12, 2025

APhA, ASHP, and NABP convened our first workforce and workplace summit on June 20–21, 2023. The summit called on participants to establish actions to implement solutions by individuals, employers, boards of pharmacy, and pharmacy associations in the near, medium, and long term according to their respective capabilities. Participants included pharmacy professionals from independent and chain community pharmacies, health-system pharmacies, boards of pharmacy, schools and colleges of pharmacy, and professional pharmacy associations. Progress Report – Due May 12, 2025

In preparation for the June 2025 Implementing Solutions 2.0 Summit, we need your help to assess progress towards implementation of these actionable solutions. Please review the actionable solutions found in the Progress Report links below and weigh in on the extent to which they have been or still need to be accomplished. You may solicit assistance from colleagues, staff, or other departments in your organization to provide the most accurate response for each solution.

Completing the Progress Report may be time-intensive; therefore, we have divided the work into several sections. The due date for all sections of the Progress Report is May 12, 2025, at 11:59pm PT.

Results from the Progress Report will be disclosed in June 2025 and will be utilized to finalize the topics and agenda for the summit. Thank you in advance for your assistance in improving our profession.
