WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) announced the start of a new consumer-focused campaign to end the harmful practices of pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs). 

WASHINGTON, DC – A coalition of organizations representing pharmacies and pharmacists across all practice settings released a statement today ahead of a Tuesday, July 23 U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Accountability hearing titled, “The Role of Pharmacy Benefit Managers in Prescription Drug Markets Part III: Transparency and Accountability.”

WASHINGTON, DC—The American Pharmacists Association (APhA) is concerned with the recent decision by the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in Braidwood Mgmt v. Becerra, which may weaken current requirements for insurers to cover preventative care services and medications.
