I was born in New York but grew up in Tampa, FL. I’m proud to be a double Gator: I graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Biochemistry in 2019 and decided to stick around Gainesville a little longer for pharmacy school. This is where I fell in love with APhA–ASP and first learned about my chapter’s Policy & Advocacy Committee. I quickly joined and later became my chapter’s policy vice president. Now I’m about to head off on my final-year rotations, and I’m excited to still be involved with APhA–ASP for another year.
Most people know me as “O,” but my full name is Oluwanifemi—which translates to “God loves me” in Yoruba. I am the eldest of three, with one sister and one brother, and parents who are Nigeran immigrants. My hometown is Aurora, IL.
Within my first few days as a student pharmacist, I was drawn to APhA–ASP.

I am so excited, honored, and thankful to serve as your APhA–ASP National President.
