I never imagined that just 1 week could change the trajectory of my life, but that is exactly what happened when I recently traveled to Arusha, Tanzania.

On October 10, 2025, St. Louis College of Pharmacy at the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy campus quad came alive with energy, conversation, and a sense of community spirit for the annual Walk-By Clinic. 

Pharmacy school can be quite rigorous, but setting aside time for personal growth remains essential. We have chosen to dedicate part of our personal growth time to learning Spanish. 

This award recognizes our school’s deep commitment to addressing public health and SUD through consistent and compassionate actions that truly touch lives.

This recognition reflects the collective effort of students, faculty, preceptors, and community members working toward the shared goal of better health.
