Receiving the APhA–ASP Chapter Operational Leadership Award is a profound reminder of the impact that this profession can have on communities. 

At the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy, our chapter has experienced significant growth and development over the past 3 years. 

At the 2026 APhA Annual Meeting & Exposition this past March, the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy’s APhA–ASP Chapter was honored to receive the APhA–ASP Chapter of the Year Award.

I never knew the friendships that could develop over Zoom or the impact that could be made by collaborating via GroupMe chats. 

I am so excited to serve as your 2026–2027 APhA–ASP speaker of the house and to connect with such an incredible community. It is truly an honor and a dream to advocate for and work alongside student pharmacists across the nation.
