How do I become an APhA member from the APhA website?
- Click on the join link on pharmacist.com, log in using your APhA login, and enter the discount code
on the payment information page.
- If you do not have an APhA login, click on ‘Register’ in the top right-hand corner of
pharmacist.com.
How can I retrieve my username or reset my password?
- Visit the login page and select Forgot Password or Forgot Username.
I am already an APhA member; can I get the employee discount?
- Yes. We will provide a corporate discounted rate for everyone who renews their membership. However,
pro-rated or partial refunds will not be issued by APhA.
What is the cost of APhA membership?
- The current pharmacist rate is $294. With the corporate discount, you only pay $199.
- New practitioners are the first 7 years after graduation.
- New Practitioner $96-$147 (Rates increase as you progress professionlly)
- Technician membership is currently discounted association-wide during an introductory period to
promote APhA’s new Pharmacy Technician Community and development of our new technician leadership
and engagement structure. The current technician rate and the discounted rate are the same at $29.
However, when the introductory period expires, the corporate discount will remain at $29. You do not
need to use the promo code.

Do you offer a payment plan for membership?
- Yes, APhA has monthly and yearly autorenewal program. These options can be selected during the
membership enrollment or renewal process.
How can I change my last name?
- APhA requires name change requests in writing. Email your request to infocenter@aphanet.org. Please include a legal document
such as a marriage license, divorce decree, etc.
How can I update other information?
- Please visit the My Account section of pharmacist.com and update your contact information within
your APhA Profile.
How do I get a receipt for membership?
- Your receipt can be found on the My Account section of pharmacist.com.
Is my membership still active?
- Please visit the My Account section on pharmacist.com to check your profile and verify your active
or lapsed membership. You will also receive a notification to renew your membership during our
seasonal member drives.
What is my membership number?
- Your APhA membership number appears in your welcome email and on the My Account section of
pharmacist.com.
How long will it take for my membership to be processed and made active?
- If you pay by credit card, your membership is active as soon as your payment is processed. If you
pay by check, it should take about 7–10 business days to process your membership.
