Happy New Year, student pharmacists! As the calendar turns to 2024, it’s time to hit the reset button and recharge for the adventures that lie ahead. Make sure that you’re taking time to breathe, indulge in self-care, and pursue activities that invigorate your spirit before the spring semester begins. Self-care looks different for everyone; I really enjoy coloring, journaling, and watching a good Netflix series to decompress. I hope over the holidays you had time to replenish your energy, both mentally and physically. We need all the energy we can get to accomplish our goals this next year!
As you step into 2024, remember my presidential theme to “Believe in Yourself.” I want you to carry the unwavering conviction that you are capable of achieving remarkable things, because you can! Believe in your potential, nurture your strengths, and watch your success unfold. The new year is a blank canvas for you to decorate with your achievements, so make it a masterpiece!
I hope that you let 2024 be the year you shine by being yourself. Embrace your quirks, celebrate your uniqueness, and let the world see the real you. My hope is that my presidential theme will help you overcome challenges and achieve your goals this next year.
