New Jersey lawmakers have approved a legislative package strengthening regulations on e-cigarettes, including a ban on flavored vaping products. One measure establishes more stringent penalties for retailers who sell tobacco and vaping products to individuals younger than age 21 years, while another prohibits the sale of vaping liquid that contains nicotine in a concentration of greater than 2%. The package also includes a measure forbidding the use of coupons or discounts to purchase tobacco and vaping products. Gov. Phil Murphy has not indicated if he will sign the legislation into law.
