Do you have plans to visit the Washington, DC, area? We would love to have you add a tour of the American Pharmacists Association headquarters to your itinerary.

Highlights of the tour include the grand architecture of the Ernest Mario Rotunda, the APhA Awards Gallery, the Art Gallery showcasing the collection of Great Moments in Pharmacy paintings, and the treasured archives held in the Joseph D. Williams Library. Visitors enjoy perusing personalized walkway pavers for names of colleagues and mentors on the East Terrace, and delight in the breathtaking views from the Potomac View Terrace overlooking the city's national landmarks. And there's so much more to see at APhA headquarters including the Flagpole Memorial and the Botanical Garden of medicinal plant life.

A visit to the American Pharmacists Association — the home of pharmacy — offers the perfect mix of historical context with contemporary attractions for everyone with an interest in the traditions and future of pharmacy! Tours are available by appointment only Monday – Friday  from 9:00am – 3:00pm (except on holidays.)  Two weeks advanced request is appreciated.
