APhA-APRS Postgraduate Officer
Responsibilities of the APhA-APRS Postgraduate
Officer
- To provide leadership for the Postgraduate members of the
Association.
- To represent Postgraduates at meetings of the Association including
the monthly Executive Council conference calls.
- To chair all meetings of the Postgraduate Advisory Committee.
- To serve on and attend all meetings of the Academy Standing
Committee to which the individual has been appointed by the Academy
Executive Council.
- To attend the Association’s Annual Meeting and Academy
events.
- To plan projects and/or initiatives of the membership, to make
committee assignments and follow‑up on completion of those
assignments in a timely fashion.
- To represent Postgraduates in communications with the APhA staff and
Academy Executive Council.
Term of Office
- The Postgraduate officer serves for 2 years.
Qualifications
- Must be a current member of the Association and the Academy.
- Must be in a postgraduate status at time of election and have at
least 6 months left of their graduate studies, at time of election.
