Report of the APhA Board of Trustees Meeting – April 2009
The APhA Board of Trustees met April 2, 2009, in San Antonio, TX, at
APhA2009. During the meeting the Board took a number of actions
and provided staff direction on many issues and activities
including:
- Received a report from the APhA Treasurer;
- Approved the appointment of James Smith to the APhA Books and
Electronic Products Editorial Advisory Board (EAB) to serve the
remainder of a vacated term;
- Approved the appointment of the 2009-2012 Journal of the American
Pharmacists Association Editorial Advisory Board;
- Approved support for the Health Care Reform Stakeholder White Paper
on the role of the pharmacist in a medical home model;
- Received a report of advocacy activities at APhA2009 and future
Washington-based activities;
- Reviewed proposed policies statements and new business items for the
2009 APhA House of Delegates.
