University of Tennessee Health Science Center
Their goal for the year was to generate interest and spark the urge to serve through their activities and what a spark they lit!  Adding to their traditional efforts of health fairs, elementary school events, flu clinics they targeted special populations that need yearly flu shots, increased promotion of underutilized vaccines, expanded their educational efforts by adding translations in Chinese, Korean, and Japanese and actively engaged members at both pharmacy campuses to work together statewide. Their efforts culminated in 117 events where they directly counseled  and immunized over 11,000 patients plus gave an additional 811 B-12 shots.
