A: Your six-digit ID number uniquely identifies you as an APhA Member and is printed on your membership card and on the label of your membership publications, e.g., Student Pharmacist.

You can request your username and password for www.pharmacist.com, www.JAPhA.org, or www.APhAmeeting.org by visiting www.pharmacist.com/password. You will need to enter the e-mail that you used when joining APhA or registering on pharmacist.com.

A. Contact APhA Member Services at 800.237.2742 M-F 8:30am – 5:00pm ET.

Q. How do I update my mailing and e-mail address?
A. Log on to pharmacist.com using your username and password. Click on “My Account” and “Edit Account.”

Q. Can I pay my student dues online at pharmacist.com?
A. Students that are members at a National Dues Collection (NDC) school may pay dues online. All other students must fill out the student enrollment form and submit it with payment to your Chapter Membership Vice President (MVP).

Q. Do I have to pay chapter and state dues to be a member of APhA?
A. APhA-ASP chapters may assess chapter and state association dues if applicable. Students must pay chapter and state dues in addition to association student dues ($40) to be a student member of APhA.

Q. What type of professional liability coverage does APhA offer?
A. Student members in their final year of school (on rotations) receive FREE APhA liability insurance coverage through Healthcare Providers Service Organization (HPSO). Certificates of Coverage for each student are e-mailed to APhA-ASP Chapter Advisors.

Q. How can I receive a copy of my certificate of liability coverage?
A. To receive a replacement Certificate of Coverage or to apply for insurance (for non-grads) contact the HPSO Blanket Division at 800.986.4627 or visit www.hpso.com.
