REGISTERING, LOGGING IN, AND ACCOUNT MAINTENANCE (back to top)

Why register?
Your convenience, is the primary reason! You'll only need to register once and pharmacist.com will help you to manage your account. For example, if you take a continuing education course, you'll be able to keep track of your CE credits and your name and address will automatically print on your certificates.

While trying to register, I received the message "Another user has a profile similar to your own, and your application cannot be processed."
You would only receive this message if you already have an account on pharmacist.com or if another user's name and address is very similar to yours. Just fill out a feedback form. Include your full name, addresses, telephone numbers, and e-mail address. Also, so that we can verify your identity, please include your APhA ID number (if you have one) and your social security number. Once we verify your identity, we'll send you your Username and Password via e-mail within two business days.

I've forgotten my Username or Password. What do I do?
If you've forgotten your Username or Password, we can automatically send it to your e-mail. Just click on "LOGIN" on the home page. Then, "Click here if you've forgotten your Password." Type in the e-mail address that you used when you registered for pharmacist.com. Within a few minutes, you should receive your Username and Password in an e-mail.

I've tried to receive my Username and Password more than once, and I keep getting, "The e-mail address you entered does not match a user in our database".
If you receive the same message after a second try, you may wish to try a previous e-mail address that may still be listed in your pharmacist.com account. If this works and you gain access, remember to click on "MY ACCOUNT" then "EDIT ACCOUNT." to update your email address.

If all attempts at using the automated Password retrieval system fail, just fill out a feedback form and include your full name, current and previous home and e-mail addresses, social security and license number. We'll send you your Username and Password via e-mail within two business days.

Can I change my Password?
Sure! Users can change their Username and/or Password at any time. Once you have logged in using your current Username and Password, click on "MY ACCOUNT" then "CHANGE PASSWORD." Then enter a new Username and/or Password. Note that Usernames and Passwords must be at least six characters in length and must contain at least one numeric and one alpha character.

I don't have an e-mail address, how do I register?
An e-mail address is required to register for pharmacist.com. You can create a free account on many Web sites, such as http://www.hotmail.com or http://www.yahoo.com. Then come back to pharmacist.com and register.

How do I update my personal information?
Users can change their mailing and e-mail addresses as well as various other data stored in their pharmacist.com account at any time. Once you have logged in, click on "MY ACCOUNT" then "EDIT ACCOUNT." There, you can add or change information stored in your account.

ORDERING & SHIPPING (back to top)

Are the prices in pharmacist.com the same as in the APhA Professional Resource Catalog?
At times, items from the Resource Catalog will be offered at discount prices through online promotions on pharmacist.com. However, most products will have the same pricing in both the catalog as well as the pharmacist.com store. As with the catalog, APhA members and APhA student members receive special discounts on many products.

I'm an APhA member. How do I get special pricing in the pharmacist.com store?
Make sure you log in on pharmacist.com so that when you go into the store, the system knows that you're an APhA member and will automatically show you the correct pricing with discounts.

I just joined, but I'm not getting APhA member discounts
It can take up to 72 hours for the pharmacist.com database to be updated to reflect membership status and to show APhA-member pricing in the store.

The pharmacist.com store only accepts debit and credit cards for online orders.
