Tylenol products stolen in Jacksonville

FDA and McNeil Consumer Healthcare are alerting pharmacists that select lots of Tylenol Arthritis and Tylenol PM products were stolen from a cargo terminal at the Jacksonville Port Authority on October 9.

Pharmacists and/or patients can identify the stolen lots by the lot numbers listed below:

Tylenol Arthritis Pain Caplet 150 count bottles (57,456 bottles): Lot number 09XMC112
Tylenol PM caplets 2 count packet (180,000 2 caplet pouches): Lot number 09XMC110

Pharmaceutical drug distributors should verify pedigrees they receive with wholesale drug purchases. Suspicious or unsolicited offers for these drugs should be reported to FDA’s Office of Investigations (OCI) by calling 800-551-3839.or by visiting the OCI Web site.

McNeil Consumer Healthcare and the FDA are asking for the public's help in reporting any information regarding the stolen Tylenol products to FDA's Office of Criminal Investigations (OCI) by calling 800-551-3989 or by visiting the OCI Web site.
